About Me-Tami Lake-
My Headshot

I’ve always been drawn to art and all things making.

I studied studio art and computer science at the University of Miami, with minors in math and motion pictures — because choosing a singular path has never really been my style. My creative work lives at the intersection of design, storytelling, and hands-on making.

I’ve worked as a graphic designer and recently went back to school to study digital animation and visual effects — continuing to explore all corners of the art world.

I'm definitely happiest when I’m building something from my imagination. During the pandemic, I fell in love with granny hobbies. I taught myself to knit and crochet, and started baking with a much more adventurous spirit. What began as pandemic downtime has grown into a lasting love for creating by hand — and I'd love to grow those hobbies into something more one day.

I’m driven by curiosity, craft, and the process of figuring things out — one project at a time. Making, for me, is all about taking a wild idea and shaping it into something thoughtful, beautiful, or just plain fun.

I love to learn new things, make new things, and collab with new people on fun projects.
